We Can Do Better
Smog rises from the smokestacks, the sky is gray and the people are grayer. Everyone around you seems to have given up all hope for a better future. But what if...
We Can Do Better is a pre-Solarpunk management game, where you must replace a city's power grid from fossil fuel-powered plants to renewable power. Use nuclear power plants as a stepping stone to give you room to expand, and build new communities to get more supporters to work on building new solar and wind farms. Watch out that the energy in the power grid doesn't get too low, you can't remove too many fossil plants at once. But if you wait too long, pollution will rise to irreparable levels! Can you turn this seemingly doomed world around, and bring new hope for the future?

Cool game! a good strategy seems to be to start with nuclear and then transition to fully clean energy. I like that message.
The only thing I was thinking about is that the political messaging regarding nuclear plants is often that it takes a lot of time to get anything out of the investment (multiple decades) compared to solar/wind, which didn't seem to be represented in this game. but I enjoyed it the game.
