After weeks of searching through the jungle, the Adventurer finally encounters the temple they sought after. In it is the Idol of Ress, the deity of Everchanging Identity. The goal is simple: Get The Idol.
No matter what happens, no matter where you end up or what you may become, just get the idol.

You Are That Now is a puzzle-platformer(?) regarding changing circumstances and inconsistent identity. Persist through a reality-warping curse and find the way to escape the cycle, and maybe bag a shiny idol on the way out.
The game is currently merely a demo, around 5-6~ levels long. I will be updating the game with new levels over time, until it is ready for a full release. Feedback and comments to help improve this game are welcome and encouraged.
Have fun :)

KNOWN ISSUES:
-The idol can respawn in incorrect positions when level 4 restarts due to the player going out of the map. Sometimes it can be completely absent. Resetting the level with R should fix the issue if it happens.
-Pressing R on the main menu makes all sorts of funky stuff happen. Don't.
-More Games button on the main menu does nothing. It should link you to my itch.io page... But you can just click the link on the right that says "View all by Niconickname" for that ;P
But there's a convenient button for that on your screen right now ;)
-Quit button causes the game to freeze. If you're playing it on desktop it closes the game, but this is currently just on browser so :P
-The Nothing button also does nothing. I marked this one as "works as intended" in my notes
-Super Secret Level Skip Code if you wish to skip to a later level (not necessary to actual progression!): Press L while holding T
