Update #1: Demo Release
The very first version of You Are That Now is now live!
This is currently just a small, not-too-polished demo, but it showcases the concept for what I want You Are That Now to be. What is that exactly? Play and find out ;)
(This is a game relying heavily on surprise and subversion, so I cannot really go into too much detail without spoiling the experience. For future devlogs, I may go into more detail about the new additions I make to the game)
Currently this demo features:
-5(?) levels!
-An exciting(?) main menu!
-Option! Yes, option. There is one.
-At least one moment that will make you go "Huh? Ooooh! Mhm..."
I don't expect to be updating the game terribly soon, as I am planning to work on other projects over my summer break (as well as have a summer break), but when I get back to this, my main priority will be adding more levels. I expect the final game to have around 20~ levels, give or take. I may scale this number down later if it turns out overambitious, as I am planning for levels to increase in complexity over the course of the game. Once all the levels are in place, I'll work on polishing up the game until it is shiny enough to put on a pedestal and call it complete.
